The location was comfortable - ease of access to Albertsons. I ate in the attached restaurant nearby.

The food for breakfast, especially fresh fruit, eggs, and bacon, was delicious.

Location: the hotel was right by the on-site restaurant served by a very good staff with a variety of food and Palm Desert for a surprise birthday party.
Some of the staff were poorly trained.

I loved this place! How can you go wrong with a FREE happy hour AND a FREE breakfast buffet with a make-your-own-omelette station? And these events went on for HOURS (until 730pm for happy hour, 1030am for breakfast), which worked perfectly for laggers like us! On top of that, staff was friendly, beds were comfy, a/c was on full blast before we even walked in (a necessity in palm springs during the summer), the location was great (right on the 111 so near all the restaurants/shopping). I've already told my girlfriends that we need to forgo the JW Marriott and stay HERE, for better value. You can always spend the extra money you save on the spa at the JW (with private pool!) or shopping, right??
The living room decor was a little out of date (esp the sofa) but the bedroom was completely modernized. It's also where we spent most of our time so no complaints here!

There was plenty of room for the family to stretch out.
The loud music and lack of security to put a stop to it. Security came in at 10 PM.

Clean place, excellent service, very pleasant and exceptional staff. A work desk, a seating area, and pay TV in the room, good location. Lovely view of the mountains from the window. Location really close to grocery store and many food places, an Embassy and Albertson's supermarket. Also, to Palm Desert.

The pool area was a good oasis, beautifully landscaped and easily accessible. I loved lounging by the serene water with friends, enjoying the warm sun while sipping my favorite drink.

This was a great hotel filled with lots of gold nuggets from the made to order breakfast, the free happy hour to the incredibly friendly staff.
The only thing that was a little disappointing is the pool was a bit dirty. I know we went on a holiday weekend and there were tons of people utilizing the pool from 7 am to 10pm and beyond. I know they kept adding chlorine because I could smell it and my eyes would burn after 30 minutes in the pool. But the water itself was very cloudy and grossed me out a bit.

Location and property are great. Staff was friendly.
We had to ask that our bed sheets be changed as they were stained. They may have been cleaned and washed, but...

Friendly staff and great happy hour, but rooms need serious cleaning.

The price was pretty good!
The pictures make the place look a lot nicer then it was. Not a good get away for your anniversary or couples. Room looked like a business conference was being held there, Thin walls, looked and felt cheap

This place was just a prime choice for a weekend excursion in Palm Desert with very good value for money. I appreciated the smooth check-in process and had a pool view from my room, extra nice. Keep an eye out for the Manager's Reception. It was a bit limited compared to other places I've stayed.

The staff was extremely helpful. Got a free upgrade to 2 Queens instead of 1 king for having to wait 20 minutes to check in. Several employees helped us with our luggage upon check in and check out with out being asked.
Breakfast was not nearly as good as other Embassy Suites.Pancakes were not cooked to order, they were sitting in big pans with plastic wrap over them. This made them soggy from the steam. Also, on the breakfast flyer they show hash browns as an option. Not there, only home fries. No waffles,French toast, limited pastries in a dirty looking pastry box. Juices tasted sour or watered down. I could go on but you get the picture. Milk was room temp. Had to mention that.

The reception room felt like a sauna. It was probably 90'degrees in there. I didn't even want to stand in line long enough to get a free drink because it was so uncomfortable (temperature wise).
The reception room/breakfast area was very warm. So warm that I opted to sit outside to eat the free breakfast. And it was 90 degrees outside.
